This original 1900 invoice is from Van Horn & Son, Philadelphia manufacturers of theatrical costumes and armor. The printed billhead form was designed for the 1890s and reused in 1900, with the handwritten order dated December 26, 1900 for a Continental uniform with hat at a cost of $50. The document measures 7 inches tall by 7.75 inches wide and features the company’s ornate letterhead advertising wigs, masks, armor, and masquerade supplies. The invoice is stamped PAID on December 31, 1900.
