Description
This is a complete matched set of eleven antique pressed glass buttons dating to about 1900. Each button measures 15mm in diameter and features molded black glass construction with integral glass shanks and an applied metal overlay forming a raised floral design. This technique was characteristic of Bohemian workshops in the Jablonec region of Czechia during the late Victorian and Edwardian period. The set displays fine detail with light age wear and patina consistent with original manufacture and use.
