This authentic c.1940 Wendell Willkie campaign pinback button features a classic red, white, and blue design with the slogan “For President.” The 7/8-inch lithographed tin button was produced for Willkie’s 1940 presidential campaign against Franklin D. Roosevelt. The visible rim text placement is a normal result of the curl-over crimp process and not an error. The back retains the original straight pin.
