Description

This is an original c.1960s U.S. Armed Forces Expeditionary Service Medal complete with its full-color ribbon drape and clasp pinback. The medal features the American eagle over a sword and palm on the obverse with the legend “Armed Forces Expeditionary Service,” and the U.S. shield with laurel branches on the reverse. The ribbon includes green, yellow, black, light blue, red, and white stripes symbolizing service by land, sea, and air in designated overseas operations.
