This original c.1930s advertising poster was produced by Buff & Buff Instrument Shops of Boston, Massachusetts to promote their precision theodolites and surveying equipment. The lithographed image depicts a detailed view of a Buff & Buff theodolite rendered in technical illustration style, with the company’s name and Boston address printed below. These display pieces were distributed to dealers and engineering departments to highlight the firm’s craftsmanship prior to its eventual merger with Keuffel & Esser. The poster measures approximately 24.5″ tall by 16.5″ wide and has square, undamaged corners; weights are visible in the photo only because the poster retains its rolled form.

Condition
This antique poster is in very good condition. It has been rolled for many years, so the corners are weighted in the main photo. The corners are all sharp and crisp with no damage or missing pieces.
