Original 1903 souvenir medal pin from the Chicago Centennial Jubilee celebrating the founding of Fort Dearborn and the city’s 100th anniversary. The two-piece gold-tone brass medal features a detailed depiction of Fort Dearborn on the front with the dates Sep. 26–Oct. 1, 1903, and the Federal Building of Chicago on the reverse. The upper bar reads “Souvenir” and connects to the medal by small suspension rings, with a working pin clasp on back.
