This original c.1930s set of three Principia College uniform buttons was manufactured by Jacob Reed’s Sons of Philadelphia. Each gilt brass button features an eagle with crossed musket and bugle and the word PRINCIPIA above. The set includes three sizes—25mm, 23mm, and 15mm—representing coat, vest, and cuff use. The reverse sides are stamped JACOB REED’S SONS PHILA, a respected American military and collegiate outfitter active from the 19th century into the mid-20th century.
