This listing is for an original U.S. Navy China Service Medal dating from the 1940s–1950s. The bronze medal features a traditional Chinese junk with the words “CHINA SERVICE” on the obverse and an eagle perched on an anchor with “UNITED STATES NAVY FOR SERVICE” on the reverse. The medal retains its original yellow ribbon with crimson edge stripes and pin-back clasp, measuring approximately 3 inches tall by 1.5 inches wide. It represents service by U.S. Navy personnel in China and adjacent areas during and after World War II.
