The bronze medal features a dragon behind a bamboo grove with the inscription “Republic of Vietnam Service,” symbolizing strength and resistance. The reverse bears a torch of liberty and arcs representing cooperation between forces. The ribbon displays the yellow and red stripes of the Republic of Vietnam bordered in green, with an intact clasp on the reverse.
