Hardvark’s poppy melodies and quirky lyrics are often obscured with a wall of heavy guitars. Randy Towner (vocals, guitar) and Ed Giles (bass), first met in Champaign, IL, in late 1991. They added drummer Bob Rising a year later. Their debut album, Memory Barge, appeared in late 1994 on Cargo Records; DGC then signed them and re-released the album in early 1995. The photo is approximately 8″x10″. NOTE: Any lack of focus in this photo is present in the original image.
