Tripmaster Monkey was an alternative rock band hailing from the United States, active in the 1990s. Formed in St. Louis, Missouri, the band’s lineup included Chris Phillips, Wes Kidd, and Jamie Toal. They gained recognition for their melodic and guitar-driven sound, which drew influences from indie rock and post-punk. Tripmaster Monkey released their debut album, “Goodbye Race,” in 1994, which received critical acclaim for its introspective lyrics and musical depth.
