“Family Ties” aired on television from September 22, 1982, to May 14, 1989. This popular American sitcom created by Gary David Goldberg focused on the Keaton family, whose members had differing political and social views. The show gained widespread acclaim for its portrayal of family dynamics, particularly the contrast between the liberal parents, Elyse and Steven Keaton, and their conservative son, Alex P.
