Description

Vintage c.1940–1948 silver-tone rhinestone brooch with a large clear rivoli center. The design shows an early starburst or snowflake form that predates later atomic styles. Construction and clasp style align with wartime to immediate post-war costume jewelry production.

The crystals in this brooch are totally clear and they are set in silver tone metal. Any dark areas in the photos are reflections. The back of the clip has a safety pin-style C-clasp which is fully functioning.
