Description

This lot is a letter sent in 1900 from Albert Bloch in New York City. Albert Bloch served as the manager for the musical plays “A Pair of Black Eyes” and “The Lamp-Lighter of New York”, both of which were owned by Herbert Betts’ Attractions during the late 19th century. The letter was written to send with a contract to someone who had booked a show for November 13, 1900.

The handwritten letter is on Herbert Betts’ Attractions letterhead and is approximately 11″ tall by 8.5″ wide. It is hand-signed by Albert Bloch. This letterhead is extremely scarce.

Condition

This letter is in good condition. It has been folded for mailing. It has light wrinkles, smudges, edge wear, and toning typical of old paper items. Please review the included photos of the actual item to make a complete determination of its condition.
