The lid is embossed and marked with the 1926 patent date, and the interior includes illustrated wound care instructions for minor cuts, burns, and abrasions. This example represents one of the first commercial adhesive bandage packages produced by Johnson & Johnson and remains a desirable early form of American medical advertising.
