This brass military or livery button features the British Royal Coat of Arms with crowned shield, lion and unicorn supporters, and motto ribbons reading Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense and Dieu et Mon Droit. Measuring 24mm in diameter, it dates to the late Victorian or early Edwardian era c.1890s–1900s. The reverse is gilt with a soldered loop shank and no maker’s backmark. A collectible example of British uniform and heraldic insignia.
