Description

This lot is a multi-page book showing black and white half-page images of scenes from Washington, D.C., the capitol of the United States. The book was published in 1938 by Manhattan Post Card Publishing Co., and it has some interesting photo images that match that time frame. For example, one photo shows Pennsylvania Avenue with old cars and another shows the House of Representatives chamber with a 48-star flag hanging above the podium.

The book is 10″ tall by 7″ wide and has 48 pages.

Condition

This vintage book is in good condition. It has light smudges, stains, edge wear, and toning. The stapled spine is still intact. It has a missing piece at the top right of the back page. None of the inside pages are torn or creased except one which has a crease that happened during the original printing process (shown in photos).
