This handwritten record confirms the legal proof and recording of a deed by three subscribing witnesses: Middleton, Samuel Hough, and Andrew Matthews. It is signed by Charles Binns, who served as Clerk of the Court in Loudoun County from 1799 to 1837 and was a significant figure in the administration of early Virginia law.
