This is an original 1857 warranty deed from Franklin County, Maine. It documents the sale of land in the town of Strong from Jeremiah R. Norton to Eben D. R. Hitchcock for $300. The deed references earlier transactions from 1853 and includes a reserved burying ground and a total land area of approximately 75 acres.
