This c.1909 Milton Bradley “Three Bears” children’s card game (#4770) is a scarce early variant of the Old Maid format, using illustrations from the Goldilocks and the Three Bears fairy tale. The game includes all nine matching pairs plus the single Goldie Locks card, along with the original printed instruction card and the original two-piece box featuring bright chromolithographed cover art. The set shows typical age toning and light corner wear, with the box bottom reinforced by old tape but still structurally sound. Complete examples of this game rarely appear for sale and remain among the most collectible of the early Milton Bradley story-based card sets.
