Description
This original 1903 theatrical business letter was sent by Harry M. Clark of Harry M. Clark’s Attractions to E. N. Merrill, manager of the Coburn Opera House in Skowhegan, Maine. Dated July 27, 1903, the letter proposes a performance booking for the play “Chelsea” and references possible alternate dates. It is printed on ornate letterhead promoting three of Clark’s touring productions—“Darkness and Daylight” by Mary J. Holmes, “A Life’s Mistake” by Chas. Garvice, and “A Girl from Sweden.” The letter is handwritten and personally signed by Harry M. Clark.
