In the last half of the 1800s, the touring and performing schedules of most traveling shows and entertainers were maintained by Lyceum Bureaus who represented groups of performers, lecturers, musicians, etc. One of the most prominent Lyceum Bureaus was the St. Ormond Lyceum Bureau run by Harry St. Ormond in New York City. This lot is a letter written from St. Ormond to Jonathan J. Stephen. The letter discusses some details concerning advertising for upcoming performances. The typed letter is signed by St. Ormond.
