Description

From the end of the 1800s through the early 1900s, most theatre and opera house managers in the United States and Canada had to book their entertainment through Syndicates which controlled the touring schedules of most traveling shows and entertainers. One of the most prominent Syndicates was run by Marc Klaw and Abraham Lincoln Erlanger. This lot is a letter written by George V. Haliday of Haliday Amusement Co. with offices in Duluth, MN; Superior, WI; and New York City. The letter is wrtten to Klaw and Erlanger informing them of correspondence that was sent to him by mistake. The typed letter is on Haliday Amusement Co. letterhead and is approximately 7.25″ tall by 8.5″ wide.

Condition

This letter is in good used condition with wear appropriate to its age. It may have small creases/tears, wrinkles, indentations, stains, smudges, edge wear, toning, corner bumps, or other issues typical of old paper items.
