Caron Wheeler is a British singer-songwriter, best known for her powerful and soulful vocals. Born on January 19, 1963, in London, England, she rose to fame as a prominent member of the R&B and soul band Soul II Soul in the late 1980s. Wheeler’s captivating voice became a signature element of the group’s sound, and she contributed immensely to their success with hits like “Keep on Movin'” and “Back to Life (However Do You Want Me).” After leaving Soul II Soul to pursue a solo career, she released her debut album, “UK Blak,” in 1990, which featured the critically acclaimed single “Livin’ in the Light.” Throughout her career, Caron Wheeler has continued to create soulful and meaningful music, establishing herself as one of the most distinctive and respected voices in the British music scene.
