Description
The Katydids were a British alternative rock band formed in the late 1980s. Comprising Susie Hug as the lead vocalist, Adam Seymour on guitar, Glenn Johansson on keyboards, Jeremy Stacy on drums, and Dan James on bass, the band released their self-titled debut album “Katydids” in 1989. The album featured catchy, guitar-driven pop-rock with Hug’s distinctive vocals at the forefront. The Katydids gained some attention for their single “The Boy Who’s Never Found,” but despite positive critical reviews, they didn’t achieve significant commercial success. The band’s music is often associated with the jangle pop and alternative rock movements of the late ’80s and early ’90s.
