Sister Double Happiness was a San Francisco-based alternative rock band that emerged in the late 1980s and gained recognition for their soulful and blues-infused sound. Fronted by the charismatic vocalist and songwriter Gary Floyd, who had previously been a part of the punk band The Dicks, Sister Double Happiness combined elements of rock, blues, and punk. The band released several albums, including “Sister Double Happiness” (1988), “Heart and Mind” (1990), and “Uncut” (1993). Their music often explored themes of love, loss, and personal introspection.
