Wet Wet Wet is a Scottish pop band that rose to prominence in the late 1980s and achieved massive commercial success throughout the 1990s. Formed in Glasgow in 1982, the band’s melodic pop-rock sound, characterized by catchy hooks and smooth vocals, garnered them a dedicated fanbase. Their breakthrough came with the album “Popped In Souled Out” in 1987, featuring hits like “Sweet Little Mystery” and “Wishing I Was Lucky.” However, it was their cover of The Troggs’ “Love Is All Around” for the soundtrack of the film “Four Weddings and a Funeral” that propelled them to global stardom in the early 1990s.
