Description
This lot is an interesting antique negative which shows a turn-of-the-century butcher shop including a counter with stools and various goods lining the walls. A woman in a long dress is seated on one of the stools. The shop is decorated with hanging garland, and it even drapes across the mounted taxidermy heads on the back wall. Along with the negative, the lot includes a photo print of the negative. Based on the type of paper used for the print, it was probably produced in the 1950s.
The negative is approximately 5″ tall by 7″ wide. The photo print is about the same size.
NOTE: Any lack of focus in this photo is present in the original image.
