Description
This lot is a card stock advertisement and unused entry form for the Jig Saw Presidential Game, a promotional contest put on by the Detroit Sunday Times newspaper. The game took place during the 1936 U.S. presidential campaign between Franklin D. Roosevelt and Alf Landon. Entrants were asked to predict which candidate would be selected by each state in the election. All entries, whether correct or not, were entered into a drawing for 50 brand new, fully-equipped Chevrolet and Plymouth two-door, five-passenger sedan automobiles.
The card is approximately 3.5″ tall by 7″ wide.
