This lot includes 15 original real photo postcards produced c.1920 by the American Relief Administration depicting U.S. Navy warships at sea during and just after World War I. The images show naval convoys, battleships, supply ships, and dramatic winter conditions with ice and waves crashing over decks. Scenes include USS New Mexico, USS San Diego, American troop convoys, supply ships, submarines chased at full speed, and ships returning from France covered in ice. Most cards are unused with standard postcard backs. Condition overall is good to very good with only light edge wear consistent with age. The scans appear darker than the actual postcards which are brighter in tone.
