Dramatic real photo postcard featuring a member of the vaudeville duo Manning & Class performing on a tightrope, captured mid-act while tossing an object during a choreographed routine. Issued as promotional material, the photo is stamped on the back with the team’s name. Manning & Class toured from at least 1921 through 1940, performing in top venues including the Orpheum circuit, NYC’s Music Hall, and international stages such as Tivoli Gardens (Copenhagen) and Flora Varietébühne (Hamburg). Their act featured tight-wire performance, theatrical costumes, and dynamic movement.
