Original 1925 souvenir program from B.F. Keith’s New York Hippodrome, the largest playhouse in the world during its time. Features an extensive vaudeville bill including Dolly O’Connell, Elaine Lutton, Mme. Tenkatsu and her troupe of Geisha Girls, Orville and Harold from the Met Opera, and the Olympic Athletes. Rich in international content with acts from Burma, Siam, Bali, Hungary, and more.
Includes fantastic vintage ads for Lincoln Motor Company, Steinway Pianos, Cantrell & Cochrane Ginger Ale, Tricho Institute, Kelly Springfield Tires, and The Plaza Hotel. Full-page illustrations of dancers and ethnographic novelty acts reflect the cultural entertainment of the 1920s.
Program also features articles, seating charts, and floorplans. A scarce piece of American theater and advertising history.
