Description
This lot is a group of two vintage opera programs. They were designed to give audience members a synopsis of the opera scenes along with biographies of the performers. The programs come from light opera performances by the Grand Rapids Municipal Opera company in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the summer of 1943, which was their inaugural season. The company did two shows that seasonw. The shows included are:

- Desert Song Program – This item is a 24-page souvenir program highlighting the opera, the performers, the musicians and stage hands. It also includes many vintage ads with WWII themes.
Both pieces are approximately 10.75″ tall by 8.25″ wide.
