Description

This is an original theater program for the stage production “Harriet” starring Helen Hayes as Harriet Beecher Stowe. The play dramatizes key events in Stowe’s life, including her writing of “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” and her family’s struggles in 19th-century America. Produced in the early 1940s, the program includes multiple pages of cast information, historical background, and production stills. It is approximately 11.75″ tall by 8.75″ wide and has 16 pages.

This vintage program is in good condition with moderate overall wear. The front cover shows areas of paper loss that have been repaired with colored markers. The back cover has tape residue and foxing and the bottom of the spine has a small area of separation. All interior pages are clean and complete with no writing or tears.
