This original c.1883 folded four-page theatrical program promotes the Second Starring Tour of Charles A. Gardner, the noted German dialect comedian famous for his role in “Karl in Congress.” The program includes cast members Miss Patti Rosa and General C.R. Decker (“The Smallest Man in the World”), with music by W.H. Brockway Jr. and management by John W. Dunne. Printed by Jones B. Jeffery Printing House of Chicago, it measures 9.5″ tall by 5.75″ wide and contains synopses of Gardner’s plays and a testimonial letter dated December 6, 1882, from Buffalo, New York.
