Vintage Red Jasper 22″ Knotted Polished 9mm Beads With Fishhook Clasp Necklace

This lot is an beautiful semi-precious stone necklace. It is made of polished orbs of red jasper separated with individual knots. Each orb is highly polished and is approximately 9mm in diameter. The necklace is approximately 22″ in size and is held with a modified fishhook clasp. It has 53 polished orbs weighing 72.3 grams.

Red jasper is an opaque, microcrystalline variety of quartz known for its rich, earthy red color, which comes from iron inclusions. Prized since ancient times for its beauty and durability, red jasper has been used in jewelry, carvings, and amulets across many cultures. Often called a “stone of endurance,” it is believed to promote strength, stability, and emotional grounding.
