Description
This Italian Order of Vittorio Veneto medal dates to c.1968 and was awarded to WWI veterans who had earned the War Merit Cross and completed required frontline service, featuring a blackened metal cross with laurel ornamentation, an Adrian-style helmet on the obverse, and a five-pointed star with inscription on the reverse; the medal measures 42 mm across with a total height of 114 mm and retains its original 37 mm striped ribbon.
