This is a service medal awarded by the Kingdom of Italy c.1918 for war merit, featuring a bronze Greek-cross form bearing the crowned monogram of Vittorio Emanuele III and the inscription “MERITO DI GVERRA”, suspended from a blue ribbon with two central white stripes.
