This listing is for an Italian service decoration awarded c.1950s by the Marina Militare to recognise long maritime voyages. The round 32 mm diameter medal is suspended from its original blue ribbon with central white stripe and features on the obverse an allegorical female figure standing by the sea with naval vessels in the background and on the reverse a globe/anchor motif above the inscription “MEDAGLIA D’ONORE PER LUNGA NAVIGAZIONE COMPIUTA”.
