1965–1973 Vietnam War Republic of Vietnam Service Medal U.S. Military Award

Original U.S. Republic of Vietnam Service Medal issued for service between 1965 and 1973 during the Vietnam War. The bronze medal features a dragon behind a bamboo grove with the inscription “Republic of Vietnam Service,” symbolizing strength and resistance. The reverse bears a torch of liberty and arcs representing cooperation between forces. The ribbon displays the yellow and red stripes of the Republic of Vietnam bordered in green, with an intact clasp on the reverse.
