Original 1933 Ohio High School Athletic Association district champion basketball medal in sterling silver. This Depression-era award features two players in action within a classical pediment design with “CHAMPION” across the base. The reverse is marked “M STERLING” and stamped by The Miller Jewelry Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, the manufacturer of many early athletic medals. Weighing 8.7 grams, this solid sterling medal is a scarce pre-war basketball collectible and piece of OHSAA history.
