This original 1940s reverse-painted glass advertising picture was made for IG. Cwiek, a Polish grocery and butcher shop once located at 18702 W. Warren Avenue in Detroit, Michigan. The colorful scene shows a Victorian couple walking beside a wrought-iron fence and snow-covered cottage, with a lithographed background and painted glass overlay in bright red, blue, black, and white. Framed in a molded gold-tone wood frame with a cardboard back and metal hanger.
