Commemorative fabric-covered pinback issued c.1932 for the 40th anniversary of the Concordia Singing Society of Seymour, Connecticut, founded in 1892. Concordia societies were German-American choral and fraternal organizations that played a central role in immigrant community life during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The reverse retains the maker insert for a New Haven, Connecticut button and badge maker.
