Original 1908 campaign pinback promoting Dr. James B. Bradley’s run for Governor of Michigan on the Republican ticket. Bradley, a respected physician and former state Auditor General (1905–1908), was a notable Grand Rapids civic figure and fraternal member of the Knights Templar and Shriners. The button, manufactured by Whitehead & Hoag Co. of Newark, New Jersey, features a clear sepia portrait with “FOR GOVERNOR DR. J. B. BRADLEY” around the border. Measuring approximately 7/8 inch in diameter, it remains in strong, clean condition with original backpaper and straight pin intact.
