This lot is a book of poems written by Dwight R. Canfield entitled “Poems of the Maumee Valley”. The book was published in 1943 in the midst of World War II and is filled with more than four dozen poems by the author which focus on some aspect of living in the valley of the Maumee River in Ohio. It is approximately 8.75″ tall by 5.75″ wide and has 107 pages. Of special note is the fact that this copy of the book is signed by the author on the title page.
