Prev Next

In the 1990s, Family of Eagles, Ltd. was known for selling American Gold Eagle coins and promoting a pyramid scheme. The scheme involved selling 1/10 oz. gold coins at inflated prices and encouraging buyers to recruit others. Despite the authenticity of the coins, the prices were significantly higher than those charged by reputable dealers. The company faced legal action and settled a lawsuit in 1997 for unfair and deceptive practices. They agreed to change their sales tactics and pay $8,000 in investigation costs. The company soon ceased operations.

This lot is a 1997 multi-page glossy presentation book used to attract new Individual Sales Representatives to the Family of Eagles. The slick presentation was used to attract new people to become Independent Sales Representatives. The spiral bound book is approximately 11″ tall by 9″ wide and has 25 pages.
