Alex Webster, born on April 19, 1931, in Kearny, New Jersey, was a professional football player and coach who had a notable career with the New York Giants in the National Football League (NFL). Webster played as a fullback for the Giants from 1955 to 1964 and was known for his powerful running style and versatility as a pass-catcher out of the backfield. He played a key role in the Giants’ offensive success during his playing years, earning three Pro Bowl selections and helping the team win the NFL Championship in 1956.
