Prev Next

Don Zimmer was an American professional baseball player, coach, and manager who had a long career in Major League Baseball (MLB) spanning over six decades. Zimmer played as an infielder for several teams during his career, including the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers, the New York Mets, and the Chicago Cubs. He later became a manager and led several teams, including the Boston Red Sox, the Chicago Cubs, and the New York Yankees. Zimmer was also a coach for many years and was known for his vast knowledge of the game and his ability to mentor young players. He won six World Series championships as a coach and was an integral part of the Yankees’ dynasty in the late 1990s. This lot is a Don Zimmer baseball card #284 produced by Topps in 1957. If the title includes a reference to condition, it is based on the same standards of grading as the professional grading companies. If the condition is shown as a range, we are saying that, in our opinion, the card would receive a grade somewhere within that range.

This card has wear appropriate to its age. It has very light crease in the middle of the top edge and the lower right corner. May have corner bumps, edge wear, scuffs, stains, smudges, scratches, or dirt. Please review the included photos of the actual item to make a complete determination of its condition.
