Hank Aaron was an American professional baseball player who played as a right fielder in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1954 to 1976. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest baseball players of all time and held several all-time records during his career, including the record for most career home runs (755) until it was broken by Barry Bonds in 2007. Aaron played for the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves and the Milwaukee Brewers during his career and was a 25-time All-Star, a three-time Gold Glove Award winner, and a two-time National League batting champion. He also won the National League Most Valuable Player Award in 1957 and was a key part of the Braves’ 1957 World Series championship team. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982.
This lot is a Hank Aaron baseball card #299 produced by Topps in 1972.
If the title includes a reference to condition, it is based on the same standards of grading as the professional grading companies. If the condition is shown as a range, we are saying that, in our opinion, the card would receive a grade somewhere within that range.
This card has wear appropriate to its age. It has indentations where someone wrote “10” and the cents symbol in the blue sky area. May have corner bumps, edge wear, scuffs, stains, scratches, or smudges. Please review the included photos of the actual item to make a complete determination of its condition.
