Prev Next

Mickey Mantle’s clutch home run in the World Series has become one of the iconic moments in baseball history. The incident occurred during Game 3 of the 1964 World Series, when the New York Yankees were facing the St. Louis Cardinals. In the top of the ninth inning with two outs and the Yankees trailing by a score of 2-1, Mantle stepped up to the plate. Despite playing with a nagging injury, Mantle unleashed a powerful swing and launched a dramatic home run that cleared the right-field roof at Busch Stadium, tying the game.

This lot is a 1964 World Series Game #3 Mickey Mantle baseball card #134 produced by Topps in 1965.

If the title includes a reference to condition, it is based on the same standards of grading as the professional grading companies. If the condition is shown as a range, we are saying that, in our opinion, the card would receive a grade somewhere within that range.
